Born and raised in Wahiawa, Hawaii, Dr. Gordon Kanemaru completed his undergraduate studies at the University of San Francisco in San Francisco, California. He then enrolled at the University of Missouri at Kansas City, in Kansas City, Missouri, where he was awarded his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS). After finishing dental school, he returned to his hometown of Wahiawa, where he has provided high-quality dentistry for over 25 years.

Dr. Gordon is dedicated to keeping up with new technologies and techniques in order to better himself and increase the treatment options offered to patients. In addition to his Fellowship in the American College of Dentists, he is an active member of the:

  • American Dental Association
  • Hawaii Dental Association
  • Honolulu County Dental Society
  • Hawaii Dental Forum (Seattle Study Club)

Through these organizations, Dr. Gordon is able to pursue numerous continuing educational opportunities.

By attending meetings, seminars, and lectures, as well as studying the latest research published in peer-reviewed journals, Dr. Gordon stays at the forefront of advancements in dentistry. This allows him to carefully evaluate the newest developments and incorporate the best into patient care.

When he’s not seeing patients, Dr. Gordon enjoys fishing in Alaska and locally. He also likes riding his Harley Davidson, dining on exotic foods, and participating in community service in order to strengthen the community to make it a better place for all.
